Achmea's healthcare property fund most sustainable in the world

The Achmea Dutch Health Care Property Fund (ADHCPF), managed by Achmea Real Estate, has once again been named the most sustainable healthcare real estate fund in the world. The fund ranked first in its peer group in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), a leading sustainability benchmarking tool.
The ADHCPF achieved a score of 93 out of a possible 100 in the benchmark. The ADRF residential fund also outperformed, scoring 92 points. Meanwhile, the ADRPF retail fund matched the average in its peer group with 91 points. All three funds received the maximum five-star rating once again. This places them among the world's top-performing funds in terms of sustainability. The average GRESB score this year is 79 points.
“I am very proud of our performance this year,” says Boris van der Gijp, co-chairman of Achmea Real Estate. ‘The healthcare real estate fund maintains its number one position, while the other two funds have improved their scores. Notably, the retail fund has risen from 88 to 91 points. It will be challenging to improve on this next year, but together with our investors, we will continue to work hard to achieve it.”
