Amsterdam, 14 September 2023 - Achmea Real Estate has leased a total of 6,594 sqm of retail space in recent months to new and existing tenants on behalf of the Achmea Dutch Retail Property Fund (ADRPF).
Achmea Real Estate welcomed as new tenants Wok to Go (Damrak, Amsterdam), Lovisa (Kalverstraat, Amsterdam), Ivan Alexis (Heiligeweg, Amsterdam), Mabroek Versmarkt (Lange Voort, Oegstgeest), Five Clinics (Karel Doormanstraat, Rotterdam) and Clan de Banlieue (Korte Lijnbaan, Rotterdam).
Renewals were achieved with AS Watson (Kalverstraat, Amsterdam ), Xenos (Leyweg, Den Haag), Hunkemöller (Lijnbaan, Rotterdam) and Termeer Groep (known for Sissy Boy and Manfield) for two branches in Haarlem and one in Amsterdam.
The ADRPF's strategy focuses on sustainable investments in the best high street locations and convenience centres. Attracting strong (international) retailers fits the Fund's profile and underlines this strategy. These lettings increase the portfolio's occupancy rate to 98 per cent.
Peter Koppers, fund manager of the ADRPF: "We focus on the nine strongest high street locations and convenience centres. In doing so, we are building a future-proof investment proposition in retail real estate. We are working on a diverse portfolio, with shops that consumers like to visit and where entrepreneurs can do good business as tenants. These renewals and contracts with new tenants fit exactly into that picture."
